Rhyan's H.O.P.E (Helping Other People Evolve)

Rhyan’s H.O.P.E. is a nonprofit organization that helps low-income individuals and families succeed against all odds. We use a multi-disciplinary approach to help people attain mental, physical, and financial wellness. Through education, motivation, and awareness, we provide an environment that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit. Our focus is

1) Health and Wellness- Help reduce the risk of obesity and chronic disease in children and adults in Pulaski County and neighboring areas.
​
2) Financial Literacy-Provide financial literacy to low-income individuals and families.
​
3) Homelessness of Veterans-Reduce the rates of homelessness of veterans by providing housing and/or housing assistance.
​
4) Anti-Recidivism-Reduce recidivism rate of ex-felons by cultivating an environment that helps them assimilate successfully back into society.
​
5) Eco-Style Construction Apprenticeship Program-Helping women transitioning out of abusive relationships, incarceration, aging out of foster care, and at risk girls develop construction trade skills needed to overcome adversity.
Empowerment Center
Our goal is to open an Empowerment Center to help individuals and families. The center will provide:
1) Nutrition counseling, personal training/group fitness classes, cooking classes, and more.

2) Provide low-income families with financial literacy seminars, classes, and workshops.
​
3) Provide housing assistance to veterans and returning citizens.
​
4) We help returning citizen (ex-felons) integrate back into society by providing them with the tools they need to succeed in the workplace (resume writing, computer skills, financial literacy, etc.).

5) Apprenticeship Programs-Help women develop trade skills. Especially those needing to overcome and transition out of unhealthy situations.

EmBRAce your Beauty Health Initiative
Our 3rd Annual EmBRAce your Beauty Health Initiative for Girls will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 10a.m.-3p.m. at Evolve Event Center. This inspiring and transformative wellness conference is dedicated to empowering minority youth. The purpose of this event is to create a safe and inclusive space for young minds to explore various dimensions of wellness. Our mission is to empower young girls to be more proactive about their health while increasing their self-esteem and self-confidence. This event promotes wellness in young girls between 12-18 years of age. Our focus is on their physical, social, environmental, intellectual, and emotional well-being. By using a multi-disciplinary approach, we can enrich the lives of young girls and provide an environment that nurtures their mind, body, and spirit.

Wealth Building Bootcamp for Boys
Tha King's Code Wealth Building Bootcamp is FREE program for boys ages 12-17. The aim of this program is to foster a stronger connection between financial literacy and the African American community. While each individual's financial path is unique, there exist notable demographic variances in financial acumen among African Americans. Our mission is to empower young boys by equipping them with a robust comprehension of financial principles and instilling a sense of responsibility for their financial well-being. Our goal is to educate them on the significance of money management, making informed financial choices, and attaining financial security, all while bolstering their self-esteem and confidence.
WHEN:
The King's Code 8-week boot camp is set to kick off on June 10th, culminating on July 29th.
